Microneedling Treatment
SkinPen is the first microneedling device approved by the FDA to treat acne scars.
It's also used to address hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, neck wrinkles, and surgical scars.
What areas can be treated?
All of the face, including around the eyes, neck, décolletage and the body.
How does microneedling work?
SkinPen creates hundreds of micro-skin punctures per second to
stimulate the skin's natural healing process- inflammation, proliferation, and remodelling.
How quickly will you see results?
You will start to see changes after just one session.
How many are recommended?
Microneedling is recommended 3-6 depending on the skin concern.
What's the aftercare/ downtime?
Immediately after the treatment your skin will be slightly red.
A cooling, calming water-based masque is applied to the skin for 15 minutes. This reduces redness and soothes the skin.
SkinPen Biocellulose Masques are available to purchase in clinic so you can treat your skin at home to some extra TLC.
Most patients can return to their daily routine after 24 hours.

Injection lipolysis chemically reduces the number of fat cells around the injection site. The chemical, called deoxycholic acid, results in fat cell disruption and death. The product is injected into the target area and straight away starts to break up fatty cells. Some mild swelling is normal for upto 7 days. With adequate hydration the body naturally processes these unwanted fatty cells in the liver. The body breaks down stubborn fat cells that with exercise and diet alone won't shift.
